For me, DaVita was not only a place where I could start serving others through working in health care, and it offered a learning environment where I found that I could grow in both my leadership and analytic skills. I really appreciated that DaVita's mission and Core Values reflect an empathetic environment focused on improving quality of life to patients while also improving and uplifting team members in the Village!

The cohort experience was the most valuable part as we all got to bond over being in a new city, working in the Village and living relatively close to each other. It was great having friends to be able to ask questions and learn with. And in the Village, people were very open to having informational coffee chats and teaching us about the different lanes in the Village.

My advice for candidates is, always be willing to ask questions, ask for help and use every resource that the program will give you. You may not have all the answers...but it takes a Village!
