My first interaction with DaVita goes back to my first summer after starting college—I was a waitress in my hometown, and my boss was struggling with getting his mother to her regular dialysis treatments at their local DaVita center. I quickly signed up to be her regular mode of transport and was impressed with the compassion the dialysis team had for providing her with the best care. Once I saw Redwoods was recruiting on my campus, it was an easy decision for me to apply for and accept a position in the Summer Analyst cohort.

The most impactful part of the program for me was having a cohort. To be surrounded by a group of thoughtful, engaged and intelligent individuals that are on the exact same journey as you allowed me to feel comfortable in the Village from day one. To this day, they are some of the closest friends I have here in Denver.

My advice for candidates is, take advantage of the vast network Redwoods has to offer within the Village. Don't shy away from cold-emailing a former Redwood alum to learn more about their role or experience in the Village.

I received my degree in economics from Colorado College.

Fun fact: I'm a huge tennis fan! A major highlight for me was attending Wimbledon this past summer with two teammates from my Redwoods cohort.
