Eleanor Harte
Redwoods Resident 2016
Division Vice President– Apex
DaVita— including my managers, the Redwoods program, my peers and others—has done a fantastic job at hitting the balance between helping me feel challenged as well as supported and motivated. I can think of multiple times where I wasn't fully sure I could do something, but someone I was working for or a peer gave me a bit of a nudge which pushed me in a new direction. I've come to realize I thrive off of challenge and the feeling of something going from unknown to known. I hope to continue to seek out roles that involve turnarounds or challenges that at first make me a bit uncomfortable but can have a large impact on people!
I loved being part of a cohort while we were all being pushed out of our comfort zones. There are a number of Redwoods with whom I really connected with in the first few months of the program who I still feel close to, both professionally and personally.
My advice for candidates is, enjoy the chance to learn!
I received my undergraduate degree in human biology at Stanford University and my MBA at Harvard Business School.
