Redwoods Resident 2005
Group Vice President– Titan
DaVita has provided me with meaningful professional development that has influenced how I show up, not only at work but also at home. DaVita has allowed me to grow at my own pace—I have four young children, so building a career for sustainability has been important for me. I have been able to have open and supportive career conversations and have always been met with kindness and positive intent.
I currently shepherd the FA strategy project, which aims to build stronger and more stable FAs. This can be so important to the health of our Village & patients because FAs are the direct conduit to many of our teammates and patients. This year, we also kicked off an initiative to create a world-class training experience for our new clinical teammates (RNs & PCTs). Given the number of teammates we onboard each year, we owe it to them (and our patients) to have a training program that delivers best-in-class experience and impeccable skills training.
My advice for candidates is, enjoy it! It’s a phenomenal training experience. In any task, project, or practicum that you undertake, make sure you set clear goals, measures of success and defined actions to drive change. This will help your managers and mentors support you more effectively.
I received my MBA from Harvard Business School.
Fun fact: I am a French-American citizen. I grew up in France and moved to the U.S. in 2001. I have four children 10 and under.
