Redwoods Analyst 2017
DirectorClinical Transformation

I am very lucky to have had the opportunity to join the Redwoods program, initially as a Redwoods Analyst (later completed the Redwoods Resident program) . In each of these experiences, not only did I have the chance to connect with peers and leaders across the Village, I had the time and space to reflect on where I was in my career journey, and where I wanted to go next.

When I was on the RAD (rapid application development) team, I partnered directly with frontline teammates to design clinical workflows + system requirements AND develop the functionality in a prototype application. The speed in which we were able to innovate allowed us to continuously improve on our end product and user experience.

Remember participants - as you go through the program, make sure you continue to carve out time to be present during your time together as a cohort and be open to self-reflection. Lean into these moments as opportunities to really learn about yourself and your cohort!

I received my undergraduate degree in economics at Bucknell University and later received my masters in healthcare policy and management from New York University (NYU).

Fun fact: When I was five years old, I was in an ESPN commercial.
